Anne takes the entrance examination for Queen’s Academy in the hopes of becoming a teacher, but she worries as the results take time to be announced. When the pass list is out, Diana delivers the news that Anne is at the very top, and Green Gables is filled with happiness. Anne is invited to perform at a concert at the White Sands Hotel. The recital, attended by professionals and the wealthy, makes her so nervous that she can’t even speak. But once she spots Gilbert, Anne finds her nerve and earns a big round of applause!
